Sometimes it is a great hurdle for moms who have to go back to work after the baby is born (and that is sometimes unavoidable - especially when it is MOM who has the insurance!) WS has just recently completed a pamphlet called "Partners in Care", which is designed to be given to day care providers who will be caring for babies who were born cleft-affected.

It is a short document (8 pages, broken into articles) and talks about basic cleft information, a Q & A section, feeding instructions, what to tell other children about the cleft and a bit about the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), which renders discrimination on the basis of special need illegal. We've also included other numbers and resources for more information.

We are selling these pamphlets for 50 cents each, with a minimum order of 5 for $2.50. Plus $1 s/h for each 100 ordered, (not to exceed $3).

This pamphlet was developed in response to the many families who report difficulty finding care providers who feel comfortable caring for a child with a cleft.
