Cleft-Teen Frequently Asked Questions
Cleft-Teen is a place for teens and young adults with cleft palate and/or lip and/or other craniofacial anomalies to support one another. Anyone who was born with cleft palate and/or lip and other craniofacial anomalies is invited to subscribe to and post on Cleft-Teen. (NOTE: This list is restricted to people ages 13 to 22-23
who were born with a cleft and/or other craniofacial anomaly. Parents, siblings and other family and friends are encouraged to subscribe to Cleft-Talk.)

Lisa Ann Hellwig is the moderator/monitor for Cleft-Teen. She was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate in 1961, and has had 6 cleft-related surgeries; lip repair, palate repair, skin-graft to cover the cleft in her aveolar ridge, ear-tubes, and 2 nose revisions.
