Here's what Dr. John Upledger, the inventor of CranioSacral Therapy says in an article entitled
"Intention and Touch, and Other Applications of CranioSacral Therapy" _Massage Magazine_ July 97
About ear infections and CranioSacral work (never occurred to me, but I guess it makes sense, since drainage depends partly on those intricate little bones moving correctly):
"Ear problems: Chronic middle ear infections respond
exceedingly well to CranioSacral Therapy. Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) responds
moderately well -- but it is more difficult to predict the results in the treatment
of tinnitus than
other ear problems."
John Upledger, D.O., O.M.M., is a Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy, an American Fellow of the British Society of Osteopathy, and a Doctor of Science, Medicina Alternativa. He served on the Alternative Medicine Program Advisory Council for the Office of Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health. Throughout his career, Upledger has been recognized as an innovator and leading proponent in the investigation of new therapies.

The Upledger Institute should be able to give you referrals for certified practitioners in your area. Insurers often will cover CranioSacral work for specific medical problems.
