Sheldon
Sheldon was born with a complete bilateral cleft lip including just a notch in his alveolar ridge and a complete cleft of the soft palate. There are no other family members with clefts. These pictures are presented to you by Sheldon's parents, Duane and Kathy and his brother Tyler.

On September 20, 1995 we welcomed our little one to the world! Weighing in at 9 lbs., 15.2 ounces he was the talk of the nursery -- because of his size, not his cleft!
At 4 weeks old - giving
us a big old smile! |
7
weeks old. Sheldon had a surgery for pyloric stenosis (not cleft-related) 2 weeks prior to this
picture but he is recovering well and "fattening up" in preparation
for his lip repair. |

At 9 weeks old, both his lip and soft palate were repaired. This Christmas photo is 1 month post op. He is now 3 months old & ready for the holidays!
